Denise S. Healy-Mason, LMTOwner of Balance Massage and Healing Arts Studio
Her massage career began at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage therapy (CNWSMT) in 1999, a member of the first graduating class. She has been the owner of Balance Massage and Healing Arts Studio since December 2001.
Denise has received certifications for studies in Hot Stone Massage, John Barnes’ Myofascial Mobilization Techniques, Myofascial Release 1 & in 2008, Pediatric Myofascial Release.
In 2003 Denise was introduced to the benefits of Energy Healing with Joy Adler, instructor at the Barbara Brennen School of Healing Arts. She began studying with Joy in several classes including: Introduction to Energy Healing, Past Life Regression Healing Techniques, Advanced Energy Healing, and Apprenticeship programs in Energy Mastery and Psychology of the Body. Denise has also assisted Joy in Introductory Energy classes as well as assisting in Shamanic Soul Retrieval Class with Patricia White Buffalo (2010). Denise continues to expand her knowledge in Energy and Shamanic work to help empower her clients in gaining balance and clarity in their lives.
Throughout her career in the Healing Arts, Denise has also participated in workshops including: Intro to Pranic Healing, Fibromyalgia & Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Cervical and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Pain Techniques.

Denise has many interests including nature walking, cooking, gardening, animal spirits, Shamanic studies, Angels, aromatherapy and crystals. She is fortunate to have a supportive husband and two wonderful sons.
Sarah Bowman, LMT
Sarah Bowman, LMT
Sarah started her path toward holistic health at a young age. She earned a B.S. from Ithaca College and later graduated from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in 2006. She joined Balance in the spring of 2007.
In addition to Swedish, Deep Tissue/Therapeutic Massage, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Lymphatic Facilitation, Sarah specializes in Trigger Point Therapy. She often utilizes several of these techniques during one session to best meet the needs of her clients. Sarah is available Tuesday-Saturday.
Amanda Meacham, LMT
Amanda Meacham, LMT
Amanda is a graduate of Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. She started her career at Balance Massage and Healing Arts Studio in 2019. She is very intuitive and really listens to what her individual clients needs are and incorporating it into every session. Such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, hot stone, full stone, cupping, reflexology, prenatal and aromatherapy. She truly loves her job which will come through in her work helping every clients session goals. Outside of work Amanda loves to practice yoga, walk on the rail trail, and being with friends and family. She believes all these things keeps her grounded and happy bringing all her happiness and positivity back to her work. Amanda is available for appointments Monday through Thursday and Sunday.
